Constrict (Ex): When a maneater grapples an opponent with its claw or vine attack it deals 1d8+3 bludgeoning damage to them.
Improved Grab (Ex): When a maneater hits with its claw or vine attack it deals normal damage and may attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. No initial touch attack is required.
Regeneration (Ex): Fire and acid deal normal damage to the maneater. Otherwise it recovers 1d8 hitpoints per turn, enabling it to regrow severed or damaged parts of itself.
