Aphrosian Armor

Erow and many of the residents of Aphrosia are infamous for wearing very revealing attire and armor that would normally be entirely ineffective for the purposes of protection. However, this is a special type of armor, one that provides the wearer with many magical advantages. Hence, for several millennia the erow have made it their armor of choice.

Certain armor smiths in Aphrosia craft a type of magical armor that provides the wearer with significant protection as well as mobility whilst taking up little space on the person's body. Even though it takes a specialist to repair the armor, they provide some of the best protection that money can buy. They're also known for being surprisingly comfortable.

Light 30 seconds 2 rounds 15 seconds
Medium 1 minute 30 seconds 30 seconds
Heavy 2 minutes 2 minutes 1 minute

Appearance:
Aphrosian armor appears similar to that of highly revealing swimwear with various pieces of metal, fabric, leather, or more tastefully applied in various locations. The gloves appear more and more armored the heavier the armor type. Variants crafted for female-bodied users come with sets of high-heeled boots that do not inhibit mobility while sets made for male-bodied users almost always expose the torso.

Prerequisites:
Those who wish to wear the special armor must meet two criteria:
  1. Must be a humanoid creature type.
  2. Must be proficient with the armor type.
Otherwise one is unable to even wear the armor.

Additional Features:
To function as it does, aphrosian armor is magical. Providing the basic protection and mobility bonuses, it also provides the following to the wearer:
  • Endure Elements (Su): Constant effect.
  • Sex Appeal (Ex): At-will as a standard action, a wearer of aphrosian armor may attempt to make an appeal to charm creatures that can see them. The effect functions just like the spell Charm Person (caster level equal to the wearer's Hit Dice) except that it affects all creatures that can see the wearer. Creatures not attracted to the wearer do not need to make a saving throw.
  • +2 to Diplomacy checks against humanoids sexually attracted to the wearer.
  • +2 to Sense Motive checks against humanoids sexually attracted to the wearer.
  • -2 to Intimidate checks against humanoids sexually attracted to the wearer.
  • -2 to Concentration checks made by humanoids who can see the wearer and who are sexually attracted to them.
  • Wearer is not fatigued if they sleep in the armor, even if its heavy armor.
